IKEA richmond

muahaha this morning it was clearly proven that my alarm clock and ringtone on my mobile do not work on me

both was suppose to wake me up at 9am sharp but i woke up only at 10am

by that time, my phone had already received EIGHT MISSED CALLS and TWO MESSAGES!

all either from sam or doggie because they were asking me if i want to go to ikea for breakfast

haha doggie say i can prepare very fast so they went to fetch sam first then came to my place

sorry arr a bit late though...

the breakfast was only $2

which includes 2 hashbrowns, 2 bacon strips, a sausage, half a tomato, scrambled eggs and baked beans

coffee and tea also cost $2

because like wad sze-er said, we can refill the cup 200 times!!! if we want or if we can even drink that much ^^

in the end we only drank two cups each

i dunno a lot about coffee so i didnt taste much difference between my first cup of flat white and my second cup of cafe latte. heee

but i guess its quite nice =)

my parents like to drink ikea's coffee back in spore too

*ding* shall go for ikea breakfast with mama n papa when i go back. yay!

then we had a walk around the place.. looking at tables, chairs, beds, sofas, CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS, lightings and CHILDRENS' stuffs

haha we spotted a whole box of small soft toys that cost only $1

there was octopus, shark, fish, and turtle but only the turtles look cute enough for us to buy

doggie's mum bought 15 to give as gifts to children when she goes back to msia

doggie n sam bought one each n i got three for myself

we are probably going to sew or pin it to one of our bags =)

roamed the place for a few hours before leaving

but before getting back onto the car, doggie's mum treated us to soft serve icecream

it was really good... very milky and rich

but by that time... i already felt the symptoms of migraine

ARRHHHHhhhh!!! i hate it.

so after sze-er sent me home. i slept for 2 hours, till 5pm before waking up to revise my bio.

two more small chapters to go for tonight. then i will finish the syllabus. ^^

the belated birthday dinner was marvelous!

we went to this really special place just now

it was on berkeley street

some garage restaurant that serves indonesian food

its really a garage made into a restaurant

cars can drive straight into the place because its simply a GARAGE!

haha its just so special =)

after the meal, lay asked me if i want to go to the washroom

i seriously didnt need to go so i said no...

jacjac asked me the same thing also... i was like.. "no..."

they actually wanted me to go and then they can bring out the birthday cake

haha.. so they had no choice but to go to the counter n take the cake out... having me at the table as well

so their plan for a surprise sort of failed

but that was a good enough surprise already THANKS SO MUCH! ^^

they got a cake from brunetti which looked like the one andy bought for zhinzhin the other time

the one with lots of strawberries

its actually strawberry cheesecake =) hehe. nice~

then lay suddenly said " take it out!"

all of them armed themselves with camera and lay took out a JERRY SOFTTOY from a big big bag

ohmygoodness! the bag is actually very very big... but i didnt even notice it throughout the dinner

im so blind....

JERRY!!!!! he is SO CUTE~

all of them like it a lot tooo. esp jacjac. haha she was hugging it almost for the whole period of time

i dun think anyone can resist jerry's cuteness. heee

then we played pool in the garage place

yup they had two pool tables two car racing machines n some computer game thing there

jacjac n yitming can play pool so well la

haha jac.. dun take medicine arr

yitming... dun study commerce

both of u team up and become professional players

then compete in the world championships

just get a bit more trainings n brushing up.. sure can win de ^^ haha

yitming had to leave early for tuition ard 8pm

gambate ne!

so left with the 4 of us in the garage... haha

we sat by the corner near the pool tables and had such a long chat about our lives n future n family n schools

we were thinking how different we will be in 5 months time and even 5 years or 10 years time

who will get a bf or gf first

who will get married first

how many children

lay n her cars n her do-not-bug-me kind of husbands. hahaha

we were guessing that wirawan will be the first to get married

and when we meet up in the future for meals... his kids might come along as well

hahaha we talked alot of crazy things until it got dark n cold

so we went for starbucks to get a drink

but it was going to close soon so we went to nelson to continue our chat

=) continued the chat about some chimm stuffs then looked at friends of ours on friendster n blogs

they left only at around 11pm

today has been so great! thanks again guys...

shall go to sleep soon and wake up early tomorrow to revise on biology =)

we went for dinner last night at ying thai
actually wanted to go to the jap food beside sportsgirl
but its closed on sunday
there was SO many people at ying thai la!
i shouldnt be surprised becos its always crowded. heee
we had no choice but to take the seat outside
and ON THE PASSAGE WAY
O.O its like... everyone walking pass will stare at us
so uncomfortable lor
but the good food made up for it though
had pud thai and tom yum. obviously we wanted the spiciest taste. ^^

then we went to dolce for gelato =)
we each had a double scoop. muahaha that means 3 flavours
but we chose to get only 2 flavours each
serena had green tea n durian
mine was cookies n lychee
she said that if the boss was there. he would give very big scoops.
but actually ours was big enough
so i was guessing... maybe the girl who served us is the boss girlfriend or daughter =P
while we were eating, the boss really came to the shop
but he talked to the other staff more than her
so maybe my guess wasnt right after all. haha

this morning we went for BRUNCH
haha cos we were too full after the dinner
she need to bring 4 dozens of krispy kreme back to singapore for friends n family
haiyo.. must be junjun want to eat a lot =P
so we bought the doughnuts then went to pancake parlour for BRUNCH
we had two lunch sets kind of thing
that includes a main course n a dessert
serena's was mozerella pancake with hot ball (icecream with hot fudge)
mine was ham n cheese kind of pancake ( it tasted more like roti prata) with apple cinammon pancake
one waiter came with a hot ball then he asked us if that was wad we ordered
ya.. we ordered that but how come dessert come first before the main dish?!
but we didnt bother n started eating that first
then the main course came... we finished... the pancake came... finished it... then....
ANOTHER HOT BALL WAS SERVED!!!
we stone there for a few seconds la
we were so so full already but the waiter said its alright just have another one
O.O not that we dun like the dessert.. but we are really BLOATED
we each took a few spoons n couldnt take it anymore

today is a special sunday ^^

there was a special worship

its also the last second FUSION worship because many has left for holidays

and so the remaining fusioners in melbourne will join the cantonese main service two weeks from now

NEWS:

- david and cindy got married yesterday and left for new zealand this morning for their two weeks honeymoon

- chun will be leaving for adelaide to study

- will be having a wednesday service next year for not-quite-considered-as-youth fusioners ( like the uni ppl and graduates ) but will still help out in FUSION worship

ACTIVITES:

11.30 worship

- we sang 'as the deer' and 'exchange'

- 'exchange' is written by clara during a time when she was very stressed out with studies and she almost wanted not to attend church anymore

11.45 activity number one

- we played passing the package following the music

- then when the music stopped, the person holding on the the package has to unwrap one layer of the newspaper package

- there is a few chocolate treats in there and a question to answer eg: wads ur facourite food? how has fusion helped you in your spiritual growth this year? choose a person from the circle and tell us how he or she has guided you in fusion. we have done a six-weeks course on 'encouragement', say something encouraging to the person to your left. do you prefer coke or pepsi? how do you think fusion can be improved?

12.10 worship

- we sang 'above all'

12.15 activity number two

- each of us had a piece of paper pasted at the back of us

- others will write some encouragement or thanksgiving on it

- after today, take this piece of paper and paste it on your bedroom wall =)

- give thanks to God for the marvelous things God has done and pray for each other in the upcoming year

it wasnt too bad but i expected it to be better though
me n doggie had funghi gnocchi
samsam had spagetti bolegnaise * i have no idea how to spell it
and ck asked for something that was kind of a fusion of ours...
there was mushroom, bacon, cream base, and spagetti =)
but their chinotto tasted weird
the best is still at la porchetta

doggie is over the moon now that her exams are over
many others... including myself got to slog for one or two more papers
haiyo... =(

ive always love maths
but its hard to love it when it only made sense in the last half hr of the exam O.O

but im very very happy!!!
heee because once again God was there for me
if not for Him, term 3 maths would have loads of careless mistakes
and for the one that just ended, i would not have finished all the qnts
thankyou

when we were allowed to leave
i really wanted to scream! why is maths exam so pressurising?
also when my paper was collected, i finally could lie to the back of my chair
(throughout the exam i was leaning forward with my head down)
my neck was so PAIN la!

so now ive got to get on with chemistry
haha although eap is the paper after this, i cant find much things to study or revise for it
chemistry more important eh?! ^^

i asked my sis to wake me up at 8.00am today so that i can study

haha as u would have expected... i didnt pick up any of her calls
till the 7th call

haii tried memorising one more time after dinner
and thats all my mind could contain

(= i'll be fine tmr. just pour everything out of myself. haha

this morning when i woke up
my tummy felt a bit weird
i was thinking maybe its becos last night i didnt really eat dinner
so i cooked noodles for breakfast =P haha
but i only at half of it

then i headed down to the city to catch the tram to church
that is collins street
but i got off at bourke st to get my boost first
i have no idea wad was i thinking
tummy feeling wierd and still asked for a mango tango (sour)

reached collins st and found out that the road is blocked
and no trams would pass by
arrrhh wads wrong
the tram officer said we could take the tram from latrobe st
all the way back to melb central
okay.... i had no choice but to travel back there
*i checked on my boost. finished about 1/5 of it

so i was waiting at latrobe st
but there was a guy there smoking
i mean like.... fine smoking isnt that bad yet
then there was another guy standing not far from me
who started talking to himself
at this point im freaking out
and then came one more guy who waved at some where
where that was nobody!
i totally stoned there for a few seconds and fled
literally FLED!

i went back into melb central under the big clock
and quickly rang doggie up
" u going church now? where are you? i go church with u okay? later i tell u wad happen."

so scary eh

after church we went to mekong for lunch
i had beef brisket
doggie, sze-er n her mum had beef tendon
and andy had room-temperature vermicilli
haha but all look very delicious ^^
and chin mama didnt let me pay again
the last time was yumcha. O.O

then i went home to finish up my lit essay
and started to memorise part of it
will be going lib tmr with samsam n dajie n ck

but im as nervous as them

during the performance, i know my hands were shivering when i was changing the soundtrack
they had 6 different soundtracks and i practiced with them only for three times
but yea, God was with them all the while
and it went on very smoothly and the audience's reaction was rather good
im sure they will get a gd mark

and they celebrated my birthday with me at yoyogi
haha yes... we are crazy over yoyogi =P

and this was wad we had

alright so my sydney trip was great,
putting aside the fact that it was almost 31 degree celcius
*faints* ITS HOT. VERY HOT.
i took jetstar to sydney and virgin blue back to melb

MELB to SYD (11/11/2006)

i woke up at 6.15am and left home at 6.30am
went to southern cross station to take the sunbus to the kampong airport
that is avalon airport (refer below for photos)
the flight was due to take off at 9.45am and the plane actually came only at 9.45am
so punctual eh?
so anyway, it was an Airbus A320,
with seats three on the left n three on the right of the aisle
and total of 30 rows i sat at 15D
and guess what... the passenger who was taking the seat 15F did not board
so me n the other lady on 15E had more space
whee~! ^^
ohyes, one thing to remind all of u guys taking domestic flights
dun take the seat on row 12 or 13
becos thats where the emergency exit
and the seats cannot be pushed backwards

so the plane took off and at this moment,
the flight manager spoke over the speaker
" good morning passengers, im felicity, your flight manager for today's flight..."
ohmygoodness!!!
i know im travelling overseas just a week before the exams,
but do u have to scare me this way?!
yes felicity... i did study even in sydney i did some maths n some parts of lit essay

okay then we landed at around 11.30am
and yuC came to fetch me immediately from airport back to my cheche's place
^^ thanks yuC!!!
then along the way to SUV (cheche's place)
i noticed the street names
they have Bourke Rd, Lincoln, Queen St, Lee St, Valentine St
compare these with those in melbourne, Bourke St, Lincoln and Queen St
dont they look similar?
there are many more such examples
but cant really rmb
australia really have not much creativity in naming streets eh?
maybe its too big and have too many streets and so too troublesome?

cheche and her housemate, zita, and zita's boyfriend, 'uncle' thomas, and yuC and me went downstairs to grab a quick lunch
becos its their exam week now
had thai food, very huge servings for only $6.00
then we went to opp SUV where there is a famous cafe for coffee
Campos its really good, becos after my cup of mocha i was addicted
and decided that i'll get coffee when i return to melb
it was rich and very fragrant.
i like! i want more!
haha then me n yuC went to the city to get groceries for dinner
and we made rissoto for the rest.
i think i roughly know how to cook that now.
i'll try and make for my darlings some time after exams okay?
ahha hopefully i rmb how to...

the nx day was my sister's baptism
where she will acknowledge God in front of the public

so yea the next day thomas came to fetch the 5301 residents to CPC
my sister dressed up well, in a skirt and a nice nice white handbag,
for her big day
the cell leaders like yuC and ah fie and others
they prepared breakfast for the cell members
ahfie brought the chinese bigbig meat bao
yuC brought 粘饭, that is glutinous rice stick with pork floss n some stuffs kind of thing

sunday school was led by ah fiewe talked about three powerful people in the Bible
Nicodemus - refer to John 3:1-21
Paul - refer to Acts 9, 22
Solomon - refer to Proverbs 9, Ecclesiastes 1-3
all of them experienced God and acknowledge and believe that God is the highest and that all wisdom come from Him
the whole study was done in cantonese....
hahaha i managed to translate and digest the words, except the names
thankyou God!

then it was the service and baptism
hehe i sat with my cheche's boyfriend, paul (refer below for photo)
ohya the first thing when i saw paul in the morning
my cheche tell me to greet him
haha becos of the 'uncle' thomas trend
i called him paul korkor
sound so funny la, then he replied with janet muimui
haha okay then...when the baptism ceremony began
the first to go up to the front to take photo was ahdong,
then whole bunch of ppl followed
that includes yuC, me, paul, jason etc
so yup, my cheche is now baptised ^^

after the service paul and i become her personal photographers
ppl flocked to her to take photos
give their congrats and giftsy
es we even had to help her carry her presents haha
after running around the church several times
we went for lunch at yoshinoya
had to walk a distance there so along the way...
i was behind my cheche and paul
i took paul's camera and took some pics of their back
haha IM A TRAINED PAPARAZI!
ohwell then at yoshinoya more of her friends were there
many of them i met before in hk as well as other times when i was in syd
zoe, heidi, issac, joseph, ben, nick and some more
paul went to sit at a two-seater table
so obviously he didnt want me to sit with him n cheche
okayla! fine...
the rest told me to sit with joseph since he was sitting alone
hahaha the girls so funny la
becos the 5 guys there had lots to talk to me about
only becos im ahyol (cheche) sister and im from melbourne
but they say until so distorted

issac's girlfriend is betty
=( didnt see betty this time becos she was busy with her church activities
ohya... all my cheche's friends like to call me xiumui in cantonese, i.e. 小妹, little sister
it all started with zoe la

haha ^^then after lunch i went down to broadway coles with 'uncle' thomas
then went back to prepare dinner
yuC came from home with tofu dish and a pot of soup (supposedly so)
but after dinner, they surprised me and thomas with a birthday cake
thomas birthday is on the 14th nov and mine on the 15th nov

and cheche gave me a small little white pouch
very nice de, even the bag holding the pouch is very elegant
so thats basically all i did in sydney

SYD to MELB (13/11/2006)

i left the house with cheche
she went for exam and i left for the airport
this time i didnt cry when cheche walked away
but i cried when i reach the train station,
that was where cheche sent me till the previous time i went over there in march
i cry a bit on the train ='(
i always have this thought on my mind when i depart
" i didnt mean to quarrel or fight with you, i wanted to talk to you nicely, but i failed and always end up being mad at each other at least for one ocassion.... we dun meet often, so cant we just tolerate each other just that bit more... sorry but im leaving le... it will be quite a while before we meet again..."
at this point i'll cry

dunno why when me n my cheche see each other...
we usually cant talk properly
but separated over distances and over the phone.. we are perfectly fine O.O

anyway the virgin blue flight i took was very punctual
and i managed to rush to school on time for my eap tut party
i didnt even go home... only managed to go home after eap
i was SO SO DRAINED OUT by then

but still had drama at lincoln

but finally my drama is looking good

then i talked to doggie

dunno if i did type anything that might cause her to suspect

then i'll say i need to put my things down before going down to the city with her to get her 3G phone
then all of us will SURPRISE!!!

but this was what happenned...

after 3rd period i met up with doggie
she wanted to go to library to get music history books
i know it will be quite long
but i dunno how to say or reject
if i did, i would probably have spoilt the surprise
so i happily tagged along with doggie and kim to lib
they look look here, look look there
then they borrowed so many books, and heavy ones somemore
so doggie had to go home first
yup she went home, i went home as well
then i told her to come over and ring my room when she's done
then we'll get boost
so when she rang the bell, i told her to come up first
then samsam, ash, dajie and me quickly took the cake (refer below) out
but we forgot where the lighter was
so we used the gas stove
but before we got ready
doggie was at the door of common room
*HAII...
her facial expression was like: surprise............! but only two ppl ar?!
haha so it was a little screwed up
but hopefully she liked the cheesecake and beanie cushion and ntbk and the card
err or maybe not, she asked why the ntbk wasnt pink 0.0
and why the cushion got silver things O.O

i give you pink wrapping paper to wrap the ntbk
and pink thread to sew the cushion ar? want?

haha ohwell i guess thats the kind of standard of surprise celebration we can prepare
=P not very experienced ma 体谅一下
next time will be better okay? ^^

HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY DOGGIE DARLING!!!

we first met each other in rawson camp
we were roomies in a double room
at first when i saw her
first impression: looks quiet, soft spoken
ohmygoodness
u'll never imagine the change after u get to know her just that bit better
she can go totally mad~
hahaha
so we had this gang thing
that includes doggie, samsam, ash, kwann, dajie and me
though at the beginning we werent that close
some things
some events
some incidents brought us really close

this girl used to go chem lect with me
but she decided to drop that
now we only go for lit lect together
many ppl ask us
how did we end up being such bestie friends?
a music girl n a science girl
hmm that a nice qnt eh?
if im some other ppl, i'll find it really wierd as well

but this is wad God does
He brings ppl together
He worked through us and let us know each other

together with samsam
three of us............
we tend to get very emotional n depressed or happy n hyper together
we just do lots of weird things together
and take loads of photos

these girls make my trinity schlife so so amazing

next year will be so different but hopefully some way or another
we will continue our friendship
so far its been from february till now... november
let pray there will be many many many more 9 months coming our way

mixed feelings

last night i went to ying thai with small aunt
she's leaving soon
she's graduated as a nurse from LaTrobe Uni
cool eh?

had seafood red curry and satay and black ice tea
we got medium level of spiciness NOT NICE!!!
not hot enough and thats not the feeling i was expecting from a thai meal
=( disappointed

and today... got my trinity jumper
