|| MERRY CHRISTMAS || tanned finally!

it was pouring for so many days until finally it was sunny yesterday PLUS ll of us had no appointments. so cheche suggested to go to bedok jetty to fish! we went there at around noon and for 2 hours, so we got tanned so quickly. haha^^ esp mama... her skin is very sensitive to changes in weather. we describe her as '见光.死' ahaha!

oh and then we went for christmas church service at 4pm. four of us were like so so red, esp under the church lightings. heeee so yea the sermon was given by pastor ron cassi. he is really a gdgdgd servant of God. and i love his sermons.

thankyou for speaking through pastor ron cassi during christmas eve n on christmas day service
through the message, we were reminded of the importance of missionary n of the virgin birth of Christ Jesus
Father
may i pray for your continued protection n blessing upon their family as they continue to do Your work
as they travel around to do mission work, to spread Your Word to the people, to reach out to those who have never heard of the gospel
i pray that Lord, You will work through him to bring more souls into Your Kingdom
on this Christmas season, i also pray that we do not celebrate X'mas but CHRISTmas
its not only about shopping n exchanging gifts
but its about the priceless gift of salvation given to all people by God

may You also teach me n use me as Your servant
may i also touch the heart of others by reflecting God in my life
thankyou once again for Your begotten son n for the cross Lord

very very late post ya? sorry... but things are all fine back home ^^
this blog ... i dun wan my family to know..
but i cant usually blog when they are around (which always is the case)
so i'll just note the main points for this holiday period at home

okay so i was back in singapore on the 16thdec
my baggage was 36kg!!! but the nice nice person let me go with that becos i checked in early i think...
love the cadbury hot choc drink on board the QF plane =) so so nice
when i touched down, i collected my baggage, got out of the area, looked around for papa mama n chehce
BUT NO ONE WAS THERE!!!
so sad arrr they were late cos they went to the wrong terminal *faints*

so for the past week....
went cycling around with cheche one of the day
went to marina square with jacjac n samantha(her sister) on wed
had this really yucky tea time meal at SECRET RECIPE (*hint* dun go there... its really yucky)
they lack so many ingredients so couldnt serve many items
jacjac... we shouldnt have given GST

then yesterday me n cheche went to help out in greenview sec to sell uniforms
so so many people, including some very qian bian parents and some inmature kids
hello?! the queue so long... if u want to see the size only... and dun wan to buy.. can stand aside or not? this parent just scream at me, " then i dun wan to buy liao..." O.O what?!?!?! ATTITUDE!
then some kids... super spoilt! try on the uniform also wait for ppl to SERVE
O.O got maid big deal eh? dun even know how to 打理 themselves... haiii

thats basically all for this week. =)

the thought that we may not be in melb U together is so sad la

darlings. dun be sad over it for too long okay. there will be some way out.

for everything, Father, thankyou so much.
be it happiness or sadness, its given by You.
sufferings are there to shape us and teach us new lessons.
God i pray that we will always remember You in all things we do and do not lose trust in You.
for our future footsteps we take, may i pray that we will follow Your guiding light. to walk Your way. the path that You've paved for us.

JiuMingArrrhhh!!!

so boring!
so so boring!
so so so bor-bor-bor-ring!

im heeding samsam's advice to laze till later in the morning... haha and i think im a fast learner in this.
hahha i slept at 2am and got out of bed at 12noon today
but the days still seems so long... nothing to do =(

come on WINDY! gallop!

we went for horse riding at some far away land. haha it took us about an hour to get there. first we met in the morning at 0630 to travel down to the city from home. then we caught a train from spencer station to go to WALLAN station. that was the third stop along the trail but it took us more than 1/2 hr. yitming didnt sleep for the whole night because he was still having exams, and he stayed up to study. so he had a rest on the train. after that, someone picked us up with a landrover from the train station to the horse riding area.

when we reached there we expected them to have the horses ready for us to ride. but they were still feeding them and brushing their fur. haii... we were suppose to start riding at 0930 sharp but ended up starting only at around 1030. but while waiting for them to get things ready, there was this cute little black puppy called 'tencil', not quite sure how to spell it, and we played with it for the time being. its totally adorable. the owner said its only 7 weeks old, and we can see that it couldnt even walk properly yet. it was hobbling behind its owner all around the place. awww sooo cute!

then finally the horse were all set to go. we were first asked how many times we've ridden, so that we can be paired up with the most appropriate horse. layleng was the more experienced rider among us so she got on the naughtiest one. wahaha! it was called punky, cool name eh? that person there thought i was nervous and is my first time riding the horse, so he chose WINDY for me. he said, " its 16 yrs old, dun worry it will go slow" and indeed it went very slow. it refused to move even when i kicked it. =( so along the course, we started off only at a walking speed, and only when we got more used to the horse did we had some faster trots. we had some chats with the ranchers and we found out that the whole piece of land they have is actually 500 acres!!! the first thing that came to my mind was...: hmmm how can we ever find such a big piece of open sapce in singapore. never! hahaha. the whole ride was 3hours but we had a short break after about 1hr40min ride. when we got off from the horse during the break, my legs were a little wobbly. haha we all had to stretch a bit before getting on with next part of the course, or we'll probably have serious cramps.

oh! and WINDY was so clever. when it was nearing noon, when the sun was blazing, flies began to surround us. there was so many of them attacking its head that it couldnt travel properly. it kept on shaking its head and sweeping its tail. as usual windy was at the end of the seven horses that travelled together, but this time it was really tagging along way behind the rest. then suddenly it trotted on faster and caught up with the horse in front. the way it prevented the flies from coming any closer was to stuck its head near the butt of the horse in front, so that the tail can sweep away the flies from its head. clever right?! hahaha! but i was wondering wad will happen if the other horse start to release some things from its butt. =P

but anyway it was really fun! and a great experience as well. im going to go back there again next year! must bring cheche, doggie n samsam there also. =)

not many days left before i leave melb. hmm where else shall i go... AH this reminds me that the day before i leave, i'll be getting back my results! oh no... =S

its so so hot!

no wonder i was melting away just now...
doggie and samsam really chose the right day to leave melb

ohno... tmr we're going for horse riding
it cant be this hot tmr ya? HEAT STROKE!

doggie got on the flight back home already...
tmr will be samsam's turn...

when will we meet again?
hopefully in singapore when they come for holiday
will we be back in melbourne together?
i hope so =)

i shall enjoy the last week in melbourne for now
monday: horse riding
other times... ive got to buy stuffs to bring back home and then clean up my room and pack my luggage home as well

a bit moody now. bad mood. one by one they are going off.

thankyou for my family and thankyou for giving me a sister who accompanied me throughout these 17 years
thankyou for giving me her, simply her
she's been tolerant of my temper n forgiving n patient n loving towards me
even at times when we have different opinions and quarrel, it was those times that brought us even closer
and thankyou God even for the chance for us to study n live in a different place
because this i feel, helped us to communicate better n understand each other well
personally i think when we shared a room like in singapore, we just dun seem to have a very close relationship
Father, You gave me everything
and all things n all the plans work out for good
may me n my sister continue to glorify You wherever we may be
be it together or separated in different states
that we do Your work and serve in Your Kingdom n walk in the path You planned for us

valedictory - ITS OUR DAY!!!

WE ARE FINALLY GRADUATES!!! (of college, not uni yet...)

finals - [day.fourteen]

WHEEEEE~
i finished with biology today, which marks the end of my trinity finals and the end of trinity foundation course
am i suppose to feel happy or sad?
but anyway i went down to the city to walkwalk with layleng, jacjac, jessica, jocelyn and samsam
got myself a white slightly flared skirt and a short light pink jacket that ties in the front
most probably going to wear them for valedictory!

although exams are over, fun has started, but it just feels a little lost
i need to find something meaningful to do this holiday
we got so engrossed with studies such that while we were shopping, lay was thinking in her mind what she need to study when she goes back home later in the day...
haii trinity started rather suddenly and its going to end so quickly tmr
9 months... ALL GONE!

but all these while here, God has been watching over me
all these would not have happenned so smoothly without Him

Dear Father,
thankyou for the blessings and grace that You've showered on me
ive learnt and grown much in Your loving guidance
and the most important thing ive learnt is the power of prayer
prayer has brought me closer to You and it has given me much encouragement n calmness throughout the time here
im glad to have this special relationship with You, Lord
and may i pray that i will be able to continue to grow spiritually wherever i am
and also that i may be a faithful servant to serve n worship You in Your kingdom
Lord, may i lead a life that reflects You in it
and walk the path You've prepared for me

u really dun wan to see me flare up! muahaha *evil grin*

a lot of the times people will ask me if im closer to my mama or papa

actually it reallly depends

that day with layleng, i was saying that i cant go shopping with my papa becos in the end i'll probably end up with nothing

papa is very 细心 so he will check every product he intends to buy very carefully

and most of the time he will find a problem with it and end up not buying

my sister is just like him... so both of them can shop together (they see something they like... they will read the description, check the outter surface... the inner components... and eventually spend half or sometimes an hour on just ONE item) O.O

and me n my mama will shop separately (we see something we like n is nice n not too expensive... we buy)

mama i want to go shopping with u arr!

heee and i want to eat the scones that u bake at home!

i cant wait to be home... then we can have a belated birthday celebration! (this reminds me that im going to the last person back home... becos cheche will be home two days before me eh!)
